the DiverCity project, developed under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU program, aims to promote active citizenship among young refugees and asylum seekers through civic education and the use of non-formal education methods.
The project involves several partner organizations from France, Spain, Greece, Italy, and Poland, and aims to develop and share innovative and inclusive practices that can be adopted at the local, national, and European levelsThe planned activities include conducting field studiesto analyze existing public policies, the creation of recommendations for local authorities,the production of information materials for young refugee people, the formulation of practical guidesfor civic education and training for workers and volunteers. In addition, the project includes the creation of a training kit, a website and online courses to disseminate the results and train more people.

On March 15 and 22, I Focus Groups of the project were held with the aim of:
1. To network the different experiences practised by the entities involved, aiming to foster the exchange of experiences among the organizations involved in the project, allowing them to share their practices and specificities in the field of social integration of young refugees.
2. Co-designing territorial events that can meet the objectives of the project, promoting active citizenship between the social actors involved and refugee youth.
The results of the work of the focus groups will be presented in an open panel discussion to be held at Casa Internazionale delle Donne- Sala Lonzi, on the 18th of April at 5 pm. il 18 aprile, alle ore 17.00 presso la Sala Lonzi – Casa Internazionale delle Donne, a cui parteciperanno anche le associazioni europeee che compongono il partenariato
